Tatting at Mirrilingki

A perfect vestment maintenance team is (left) Joan McPherson, a lay volunteer at Mirrilingki, and Assistant Manager, Anna Stephan, at the same spirituality centre in Warmun.

Among Joan’s many talents she is most accomplished at tatting. Her work already features in the Museum at Kalumburu. At Mirrilingki she has been fast at work with her shuttle tatting some collar covers for the stoles in the Chapel, while Anna happily sews the new pieces to the stoles.

The remote East Kimberley Centre is lucky to have available to it such great talent!
