Kimberley Community Profile - Issue 7, December 2008

East Kimberley youth gather

A follow up to WYD Sydney 2008 was held at Mirrilingki Centre in Warmun recently. It attracted twenty participants who looked at ways to bring alive the faith among youth and address their needs in the Kimberley region. Bishop Christopher Saunders and Fr Matthew Digges attended the event along with convenors and fellow pilgrims, Erica Bernard and Francis Kerongo.

The youth engaged in small group activity and some introductory games, that had balloons bursting, along with some serious moments of Bible reflections and prayer. Resolutions for some wonderful events next year are already in the planning stage.
