Lord,
bless the sinner who asks for your forgiveness
and bless all those who receive these ashes.
May they keep this Lenten season
in preparation for the joy of Easter.

Shrove Tuesday at Kururrungku

At Kururrungku Catholic Education Centre, Billiluna in the East Kimberley, younger students, helped by the senior students, made pancakes for Shrove Tuesday. These were then shared by all at Recess.

On Ash Wednesday there was a Liturgy and ashes were distributed by Father Eugene who came in from Balgo. It was two wonderful days of sharing in prayer and reflection to begin the Season of Lent.
